A basic platform/seating design is for an existing defined room. Starting with the seating type that you have chosen, we determine the ideal seating layout & create platform sizes, heights, steps, etc. to fit your unique space. Basic platforms do not include transition areas.

A basic plus design package starts with a basic platform design in an existing defined space and goes on to determine screen size, screen height, projector location, equipment rack size/location, basic proscenium size & shape. Integral acoustical absorption is determined. Bulkheads & related soffits with cove lighting are usually added to enhance the theater experience. A basic lighting/electrical plan is also included.

A premium design package starts with an unfinished area such as a basement, attic or home addition. We then define the location, size & general layout of the theater area based on parameters by you. Existing support columns, beams, ductwork, windows and other permanent fixtures are all taken into consideration. A theater entrance that works well with adjacent areas is one of the main features of this plan option. A platform transition area is usually incorporated into this plan. We then go on to design all features of a basic theater design described above.

In addition to the premium package the premium plus offers the design of immediately adjacent areas. This includes: lobby/concession areas, memorabilia display areas, foyers, bar/snack bar, restroom etc.

A premium deluxe design package starts with all the features of the premium plus and includes design options for the homeowner who wants a custom home theater that is an integral part of an entire area plan. In addition the deluxe package includes plans for: bedrooms, full bathrooms, work shops, exercise rooms, maid’s quarters, playrooms, etc.
